![]() There's a power struggle among management for who is the true manager that usually involves an employee having to choose who to listen to instead of knowing who to listen to. Sometimes management is your best friend, other times management hates you but won't tell you why, and on the odd occasion you will be reminded just how much you owe them. The management style at Skedaddle is very hot and cold. It took me a while to realize what it was: Management, or lack thereof. The office is clean, there's complimentary coffee, bathroom breaks when needed, you can smoke every hour on the hour, but something there is off. Skedaddle as a company is really great to work for. Do not get roped into dispatch unless you want to do double the work for the same minimum wage pay. If you're looking for a job a couple of hours a week, or just a short term position - Skedaddle is ideal. This is not a position as a long term job, you will notice that the turnover rate is incredibly high. Other reviews are right when they say that management feeds into the trash talk of other employees, and even start the trash talk themselves. You are not provided with breaks unless you smoke and your lunch breaks are spent still answering calls. A bad day for one person can quickly turn into a bad day for the office. One of them staying late often, working hard - and is paid minimally for it while being left out constantly. Managers are often mistreated or treated unequally. The information is constantly changing, and you're often not made aware until you're punished for it. ![]() From the top of management down to the callers on the floor, things are hot and cold. Unfortunately, the longer you're there you begin to realize the work environment is not as great as it originally seemed. ![]() The office can be fun, and there are supplied coffee and supplied lunches occasionally. The training is adequate and the job itself is easy. When starting at Skedaddle, it seems like a reasonable place to work.
